My Knitted Easter Egg pattern is here! (Also on Ravelry.) I'd meant to publish it sooner, but was engrossed in my March socks. This pattern will net you a life-sized egg made of wool and stuffing -- and who wouldn't want that? Knit at a the gauge specified, they're the exact size and shape of a real egg. They can also be knitted at a bigger gauge on larger needles with the corresponding weight yarn. Have fun with them -- my son Nathan shows you how in the photos at the end of this post. I'll use my knitted Easter eggs to decorate one of my spring wreaths.
Please share photos of your knitted eggs. I'd love to see them!
